National Volunteering Program

We have mobilized approximately 100 volunteers who are currently studying at various colleges in Kathmandu to participate in our volunteering program with partner schools and organizations. These volunteers are primarily bachelor's students in social work (BSW) from Kadambari, Divyabhumi, and Thames College. Their main responsibility is to visit schools on a daily basis and assist teachers in early childhood development programs. They help organize and facilitate activities that promote the physical, mental, emotional, and psycho-social development of children. These activities include games, arts and crafts, music, storytelling, and outdoor activities. Additionally, some volunteers conduct research studies on the physical well-being of children in partner organizations associated with ICRI-Nepal. Typically, the program duration lasts for three months.
